AUTOMATIC NIGHT LAMP WITH ARDUINO AND LDR

In this project we have built an Arduino based automatic night-lamp using a LDR (light-dependent-resistor).  A LDR is a type of light detector, when light falls on it, its resistance decreases and vice versa. By utilizing this property and a few basics about current division in branches, our device has been developed. This project can also be done without the Arduino UNO by using a BC547 transistor but in this project we basically want to demonstrate the interfacing of LDR with Arduino UNO and the relevant programming.
