3D PRINTED HINGE (ONE PRINT JOB)
This is our first 'one print job' of a movable hinge designed using Autodesk Fusion 360. Although a simple design, the hinge demonstrate that there are somethings which are achievable exclusively through the 3D printing process.
I have used supports here which can be easily cleaned off after the print completes. There is no denying that you have to pry the hinge open for the first time after which it becomes reasonably smooth. This problem can be solved if we use a dual extrusion printer that prints soluble support material. Nevertheless, you can try it out with your single extrusion printer as I did and it will be absolutely fine after removing the supports.
